ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

OCTOBER 28, 2010

7:15P.M.          Called meeting to order. Present: Paula B. Keefe, Richard B.

                        Gorden, Ellen W. Abelson and Mark J. Mazur.

1.   The Board reviewed sales ratio studies for the following classes of property

      for Fiscal Year 2011: Single Families, Residential Condominiums, Two

      Families, Multiple Houses, Residential Land, Commercials and Industrials.

2.   The Board reviewed and approved proposed changes to the valuation tables

      for commercial and industrial properties for FY 2011.

3.   The Board reviewed and then approved an LA-4 form for submission to the

      state. This form summarizes property values by class for FY 2011.

4.   The Board reviewed and approved our proposed budget for FY 2012.

5.   The Board read an approval notice from the State granting our request for

      authority under MGL Chapter 58, Section 8 to abate unpaid Fiscal Year

      2009 taxes for parcel # 50-1-2.

6.   The Board granted an abatement for Fiscal Year 2009 under the authority

      of MGL Chapter 58, Section 8 for the unpaid taxes on parcel # 50-1-2.

7.   The Board reviewed and then approved as amended a cover letter to be

      sent with the abatement certificate for parcel # 50-1-2.

8.   The Board reviewed an abatement application for a Fiscal Year 2010

      Supplemental Tax on New Construction bill for parcel# 122-14. The

      Board denied their application for abatement.

9.   The Board plans to hold their next Board meeting on Thursday,

      November 18 at 7:15P.M.
